About MeI have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from Concordia College in Minnesota and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I became licensed as a Clinical Social Worker after going through 3 years of post graduate experience and supervision, plus passing a licensing exam. I am currently on a Dialectical Behavior Therapy Team (DBT) that meets weekly for consultation and further education and I recently completed a 10-day DBT Intensive Training in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have worked in the social service and counseling field since 1996 with adolescents, families and adults in a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals, group homes, foster homes, and in private practice.
I currently work out of two offices, one in central Austin and one in Round Rock.
